Phoebe Hounsome is a 5 year old illustrator who learnt to use the digital drawing programme Procreate during the 2022 summer holidays. She loves drawing colourful fun illustrations which, with help from her mum, she is turning into greetings cards. March 2023 – Phoebe creates her first travel poster, she chooses St Mary’s Church in Hitchin.
December 2022 – Phoebe joined her mum at a Christmas Market in Hitchin.
She sold out of 2 out of the 4 Christmas Card designs.

October 2022 – Phoebe secured her first business client – Drink Biggleswade. She designed a card for them with their dog Henry on and her mum helped her with a fun caption to add to the card. In line with the companies ‘eco policy’, her mum sourced eco-friendly stickers, rather than cello, and Phoebe and her processed the whole order of 100 cards.
3 October 2022 – an eBay supplier let us down for party invites for her younger sister, Sienna’s birthday. Phoebe came to the rescue, designing a card in a single night to the theme Sienna wanted.
11 September 2022 – Phoebe’s debut and first market was at the Warden Abbey Vineyard event which is a huge fundraising event for the local wine maker. She came with around 50 of her birthday card designs and only came back home with a handful. It was a great start to her business launch.
